This attractive holiday resort is 3 km off the Bass Highway. The beautiful crescent-shaped beach of fine white sand is sheltered by a back-drop of hills and offers good bathing. Nearby rocky points provide good fishing. A wealth of marine life lives in the rock pools which are exposed at low tide.

The township of Boat Harbour is situated on the Bass Highway and is the centre of one of the richest farming districts in the State. A leadlight studio & gallery is also located here along with a roadside flower stall.
