Murdunna / Sommers Bay

Murdunna is located on the Arthur Highway, midway between Dunalley and Eaglehawk Pt. Sommers Bay, is 5km south west of Murdunna on an unsealed road. At these two locations are the holiday cabin townships on King George Sound and Norfolk Bay respectively.
Forestry activities are undertaken on the Forestier Peninsula, which forms the northern part of the Tasman Municipality.
Numerous bushwalking tracks through State Forests and the northern section of the Tasman National Park can be undertaken to Mc McGregor, Cape Surville, Deep Glenn Bluff and High Yellow Bluff.
