Naracoopa is a small settlement on the east coast of King Island and was at one time the Island’s second port. Plans are currently underway to have the jetty restored for recreational purposes.

The old Cable Station which was the intermediate point in the Bass Strait cable prior to the advent of radio-telephone is at Naracoopa.
