Situated on the western side of the Peninsula, 11 km from Port Arthur, Nubeena is the largest town in the Tasman municipality.

Nubeena is a centre of rural and fishing activity and a popular holiday destination offering various types and styles of accommodation including self-contained units with golf course and restaurant. Holiday flats, self contained units and a caravan park are at nearby White Beach. The area has spectacular coastal walks and scenery.
