View Location Map
With an early history of tin mining, Pyengana, the nearby township of Lottah and Goulds Country have successfully turned to agriculture and forestry. Dairy farming is of importance with the local manufacture of cheese.
The area is popular with trout fishermen with the North and South George Rivers running through the valley. Twelve km from the township are the attractive St Columba Falls.
Accommodation and meals are available, and there is a cheese factory where cheese-making can be viewed, on the St. Columba Falls Road.
