A very early shipbuilding area where John Batman’s boat the ‘Rebecca’ was constructed in 1834. The old Rosevears Pub situated on the River Tamar was built by William Rosevear and first licensed on the 24th of September 1831.

Within walking distance from the tavern are nearby vineyards which offer sales of premium wines. A wood turner welcomes visitors, as well as discover “Pastimes” art gallery, antiques and collectables.

A highlight of Rosevears is the drive along the Tamar River following the water’s edge.
