Approximately 2 km of wide, clean, white sands are offered to the bather, with good fishing. Sisters Island lies half a kilometre offshore and walking is excellent with opportunities to study the unique flora and fauna. In surrounding bush areas, the now rarely seen eyrie of the sea-eagle may be viewed.

Accommodation is available in self-contained cottages and units. A picnic ground, gas barbecue and playground are situated near the mouth of the creek.

There is convenient access to the Rocky Cape National Park and its network of tracks including the Postman’s Track and Anniversary Bay. A local Artist’s studio gallery is located here.

There is also a boat launching ramp.
