Wayatinah

Wayatinah is the village for the six-station Lower Derwent hydro-electric scheme. There is a camping area and limited caravan parking, heated pool, tennis court, golf course, squash courts and a tavern. A boat ramp is available and excellent trout fishing.
The nearby Liapootah control centre is open for public inspection from a visitors’ gallery during normal working hours, seven days a week.
