Situated on the shores of the D’Entrecasteaux Channel, Woodbridge is a charming rural village in the heart of this fruit growing and farming area.

Woodbridge is home to the Education Department’s Marine Studies Centre where school children come to study marine biology. It also boasts the stunning Peppermint Bay, a restaurant, bar and providore which showcases the fantastic seasonal produce of the region. There is a boat launching ramp on the foreshore and a range of accommodation in the area.

A daily cruise operates between Hobart and Peppermint Bay. There is a cheesery, vineyard, essential oil distillery, handweaving studio and an art gallery nearby.
